Fast Fashion: Your Guide to the Top Fashion News of the Week

It's been a pretty crazy week in the fashion world, from Taylor Swift's fans taking on Abercrombie & Fitch to finding out Miranda Kerr has a stalker. As you wind down your work week, take a few minutes to catch up on all the fashion scoop you may have missed! Here are my top 5 stories of the week:
Let's begin with Christian Louboutin, who just opened a 1,600 square foot shop inside Saks Fifth Avenue. I wonder how many red-soled heels can you fit in there! He talked a little about his design process with WWD: "I start a collection with my drawings and I isolate myself for two weeks. It’s always the same thing. The first day, I’m sort of vague, but then it’s fluid. I do hundreds of designs without stopping. I’m by myself but I have one person who is sort of editing the drawings." Clearly, this process is working out well for him so far!

Earlier this week, we heard about a death threat made to Miranda Kerr. The former Victoria's Secret Angel was threatened by a 52-year-old man living in Cape Cod. According to New York magazine, he had planned a "cross-country plot" to kill Miranda, who he referred to as his "soul mate." This story is just too scary. Thankfully, Miranda and her family are safe.

Instagram Video is here! Michael Kors and Burberry have already posted videos and I can't wait to see how designers use video in the weeks ahead. Also, what will happen to Vine, the video app everyone was obsessed with during Fashion Week? Vine's days might be numbered.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen launched their first ever handbag collection as part of their label Elizabeth and James! “It’s the first new category we’ve done in-house and we’ve been able to control the process, so we are excited to see where that adventure takes us,” Mary-Kate told WWD. Considering how much I love the brand, I can't wait to see what they come up with!

Finally, it's Taylor Swift's fans vs. Abercrombie & Fitch in a battle over a...t-shirt. Taylor's fans think Abercrombie is making fun of the pop star with a t-shirt that reads "# more boyfriends than t.s." I think it's pretty harmless but Taylor's fans bonded together and got Abercrombie to take it off store shelves. Talk about girl power!

OK, you're all caught up! Now, go find a beach and get some much needed relaxation from this crazy week!
What do you think was the biggest fashion news story of the week?
